Baseball and Softball Battle for Final Spots

The TVAA Baseball and Softball seasons have proven to be competitive. Two divisional champions have been crowned thus far as Upper Dauphin (13-1) claimed the Eastern Division in Baseball and Susquenita (11-3) has claimed the Western Division in softball.

In baseball Greenwood (9-5) and Newport (8-7) are battling for the Western Division title. Halifax (10-5) has secured one of the wildcard slots. The other wildcard slot is up for grabs as the Greenwood, Newport, Millersburg, and Juniata are all in the hunt.

Below are the scenarios for the baseball race:

Susquenita (11-3) will be the lone representative from the West as the Eastern Division has proved to be super competitive this season. Millersburg (12-2) has clinched a playoff berth but would like to add a division title by their name as the Indians and Line Mountain (11-3) are battling for the top spot in the East. Halifax (10-5) and Upper Dauphin (8-5) are both in the hunt for the wildcard spots.
